Along with a 25 watt radio shck amp I want. The Yamaha comes with a microphone that will set your levels and other settings automatically. From small parties to sold out concerts and still learning, Anyway I'm wondering what common problems do you guys come across with audio equipment that could be addressed better with design?

Passive speakers require amplification, speaker cables, and may require an outboard crossover and other signal processing. If there is the budget and desire for wireless microphones, I personally recommend the Shure QLX-D series digital microphones.

The speaker utilizes two amplifiers for the high and low frequency drivers. You should place the sub near the front of the room fairly close to the sound bar if possible, and not too close to the wall or to furniture or drapes that could block the sound or could make the sub sound a little "boomy.

Now connect your AC and power on your soundbar. Sadly, this does not help me to connect my sound bar to my TV. HDMI carries both Video and Audio, so your TV will take the video signal and display it, then send the audio signal through the digital cable to your soundbar.

I'm really looking for something with at least 4 pre-fade auxilieries my current mixer has 1 , but I'm on a tight buget. Many digital mixers offer digital stage boxes that function like an analog stage snake, only instead of a to pair multi-channel cable, the digital snake will use a single CAT5 cable to connect to the mixer in the FOH position. I would advise waiting until there is a compelling need.

Make sure that the iLive sound bar is set up to play audio from the input where you connected your Toshiba to the device. However, the demands of band members regarding individual 'mixes' on their stage monitors leave my old mixer sadly lacking.

Yes, it's true, the thinner a TV gets, the worse it sounds.
